Birthday Morning Tea Shout at Work

Work has an unwritten rule where if it's your birthday, you bring something in for everyone. I know, dumb rule! It's my birthday so I should be lavished with endless cupcakes and lavish trinkets... Anyhoo, I decided to make Oreo cheesecake and wow everyone with my amazing baking skills.

I feel like I've put on weight just from looking at the ingredients: The various apparatus needed for making the cheesecakes:
Luscious looking oreos before i ...
... crushed them into smithereens..

Mmmmm mixed with butter and smooshed down to make the base of the cheesecake.

4 pots of cream cheese, 1 pot of sour cream plus castor sugar equal instant happiness for my tummy...

Add in 4 eggs because misery (or fattiness in this case) loves company..

Chopped up oreos, ready to be mixed into the cream cheese mix.

Mmmmm.... imagine licking five used spoons of this. I felt ick after a while.

Sprinkle more chopped up oreos on top and they are ready for the oven.

Ta daaaaaa..... the finished product!
Add in some chips and dip and lollies and you've got yourself one heck of a morning tea...
What You Need:
1 pkg. (16.6 oz.) OREO Cookies,
1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
4 pkg. (8 oz. each) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup Sour Cream
4 eggs

Make It:
Heat oven to 325ºF.
Line 13x9-inch pan with foil, with ends of foil extending over sides.
Process 30 cookies in food processor until finely ground.
Add butter; mix well. Press onto bottom of pan.
Beat cream cheese, sugar and vanilla in large bowl with mixer until well blended. Add sour cream; mix well.
Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating after each just until blended.
Chop remaining cookies; stir 1-1/2 cups into batter.
Pour over crust; top with remaining chopped cookies.
Bake for 45 min. or until center is almost set.
Cool completely. Refrigerate 4 hours.
Use foil handles to lift cheesecake from pan before cutting to serve.

Hate yourself for eating something so decadent. Get over your self-hatred and eat some more. Repeat cycle x10000.

=P
