Where my heels live depends on how high they are on the food (heels) chain. The chain goes like this:
Bottom of the chain:
The heels I wear and trash on a day to day basis live outside on the shelf next to the front door. Any potential burglar would probably think that there are twenty people living at my house instead of just two. I didn't bother taking any pictures of these heels... probably about 5 pairs of them floating around...
Halfway up the chain:
These heels are nice enough to live in clear plastic boxes but for reasons of their own, don't get worn that often. As such, they live in the bowels of the floorspace under my queen size bed.
Top of the food chain:
These heels are basically my babies and are lined up in their boxes under my bed on the floor. They circle the bed on the edge within easy reach whereas the middle-tiered heels are inside away from sight.
This is the only pair of flats that I own.... and the ironic thing is that they pinch!! These are middle-tiered shoes.... but let's face it, i never wear them.
So I'll start with the middle-tiered heels and leave the cream of the crop till last.
I bought these pale green vintage-inspired heels at a tiny little shop in Melbourne's Central Way. It's a little alleyway crammed with tiny eating places with a few clothing shops slotted in. That alley always remind me of the alley in Harry Potter where they get all their magical supplies from. These heels were from my early heels-wearing days so they are about 3 inches high I think.
One of last year's ebay purchases.. these shoes can stop traffic! Someone at work nicknamed them the Pak-N-Save shoes... hehe... oh well, I think they look great with a pair of black skinny jeans.
I remember buying these the day I was hopping on a plane to Sydney 2 years ago. It was a mad rush buying them at Botany Downs, rushing home to catch the shuttle to the airport. These heels also has a very vintagey feel and the buckle details remind me of a Fendi bag. Only problem with these heels - they hurt so much when worn and my feet are well used to torture so you can just imagine how painful that is. I need someone to stretch them for me a bit... maybe Monica when she arrives on Saturday...
These are from Mollini and I love the black and white contrast. Problem with these heels are the straps... stupid things would keep sliding off and drive me nuts whenever I wear them!
Another ebay purchase from last year at the height of the oxford heels craze... love them and they grab a lot of attention... only problem is that they are 5 inches high and the front of the heels is crazy pointed... so my toes turn into mishapen claws after 10 minutes of walking in them. Oh well, beauty is pain as some would say.
This is my second pair of these peach strappy heels. They have a great heel and are super comfy to walk in. I had a pair in black too but wore them all out. Ironically, I don't wear these that much anymore. I found these on sale at the factory shop for dirt cheap so had to get them.
Newest pair of work heels that I bought from the Mollini sale when it went under. Love how high and slim heel look.
I call these my cowboy boots... the leather is super soft and luxurious.... and yes, the heel isn't that high...

I bought these in January this year in Hong Kong... not sure why I did it since i don't like flats... i feel like i have huge feet whenever I wear these.

Brown boots from Overlands with buttons details... my favourite boots out of the three...

These are a pair of cheapie heels I bought from ebay... the colour is a more vivid magenta in real life... I love these because they give a bright pop of colour to an otherwise dull winter outfit.

I call these my Minnie Mouse heels... not sure why but that's who they remind me of.

These are my heels equivalent of the little black dress.... the go-to heels whenever I need to inject a little something extra into an outfit as they are fail-safe.

Bright red heels ... pity that the heel is not higher though.

Love these heels but haven't worn them yet.... a midnight blue/pewter colour with a bit of bling detail....
These were Stella McCartney copies from memory. I saw them on trademe but they were the wrong size and then I saw them in a shop a week later when I was in Sydney for work! Serendipity!

Chunky and vintagey... look great with skinny jeans.

Standard black evening heels... never worn.... yet!

Metallic gold heels that are surprisingly comfy to wear!

Booties with a 5 inch heel.... very in at the moment. I love my heels with red soles in case you haven't noticed.
Strappy wedges with great details... pity the straps are a bit long... need to get them shortened.

These are what i call my baubles wedges.... metallic silver with shiny black baubles.... so cute!

Another pair of oxford booties that I picked up in Hong Kong.... they were dirt cheap on sale and are by BCBG!

Now we are getting to my favourites... the ones I would save in a fire and dodge a bullet for... ok maybe that's stretching it.
Steve Madden Giraffe Print peeptoes.... oh so gorgeous... bought from Melbourne.

Steve Madden Snake Print peeptoes... can you tell I've got a thing for animal prints? There should be another photo of a pair of heels with zebra print but somehow it went awol.. oh well.

Peeptoeshoes Nude Miss Soho heels.... love these so much that....

I got them in watermelon as well.

My cute dusky pink satin heels with bow details at the back... so girlie!

Yet another pair of booties... but this time in shiny patent leather... they are different! Honest!!

I love love love these heels and rang up all the shops to see if they have another pair in my size for my backup plan in case I ruin these somehow... sadly, these were the last pair... sniff sniff.
Bought at a sale in Malaysia from Guess....
Another pair of Steve Madden heels that I picked up at a sale in Hong Kong.

Wedges that I bought from Zara.... very gladiator style and very in at the moment... apparently these are Miu Miu copies..

The following two pairs of heels occupy the top spots in my heart at the moment ... because they are unique and new... I'm very much an out with the old and in with the new kind of person and have the attention span of a 5 year old... heheh.
Sergio Rossi Wedges.... sigh, look how pretty they are..

So that's my entire collection... not that much, huh? In summary, my heels wardrobe consists of:
- super high peeptoes
- super high wedges
- super high strappy heels
- super high oxford booties.
That's normal, right? Right???
