Cupping aka Chinese Torture!

If you know me well enough, you'll know that I am almost unhealthily obsessed with Vicks. I'm also very fond of cupping, a traditional Chinese acupuncture-sucking-out-toxin method as Vicks is used with it too. Anyhoo Jayden was complaining of a headache which is a sure sign that the person needs cupping. So before he could say no, I whipped out the cupping apparatus and forced him to whip his top up. It was a tad weird that I was the one rubbing Vicks all over his back when his wife is right there. Heh what can I say? We are a family with no boundaries...

Baptism of the JJs

The JJs were getting baptised last Sunday in Hamilton so we rounded up the troops to go down and give our loving support. I arrived at Mel's place before anyone else so I got to enjoy the sunshine and view on her deck.

We headed south in Gavin's car and had to make the obligatory toilet stop at Huntly.

Logan and Lauren had a play at the playground next to the toilet the last time they were here.

We got to the church just in time!

Quite a big crowd hung around after the service to witness the baptism..

We then had yum cha together before heading back to Auckland.
