I've lost my blogging mojo, dear readers. So I can't really be bothered giving you a detailed play-by-play rundown of my trip to Melbourne. Hopefully, the mojo will return in time for my trips to Wellington and Sydney.
Anyway, I went to Melbourne for Easter as Mum and Dad were going to be there too (as free babysitters). Mel and Andrew decided to add to the madness and visit them then too. I had to sleep on the floor and for that priviledge, I paid for the most expensive airtickets to Melbourne ever.
Here's the current love of my life with her well-practised camera smile. I said current because Stone is coming and he might be cuter than her. I am a very shallow Aunt.

Photo of Logan with his Gong Gong so no one can accuse me of favoritism.. ignore the photos to come after this one...
It's my birthday post so I'm going to be self-indulgent and post lots of photos of myself for a change. Deal with it.
Lauren modelling the sheep earmuffs I got her... actually I got them from a party for Secret Santa and they look ridiculous on me.

Me helping Lauren with the toy/art project I bought her - wooden 3D ballerina. We called on the help of Fashion Designer Mel to design the ballerina's outfit. Forgot to take a pic of the finished product.

Me and my Mommy... see where I get my good looks and skinny genes and general awesomeness from?
Chow time!! Nommmnommmm
The kids wanted to put lots and lots of candles on the cake .. I'm not sure whether it's because they like blowing candles out or they think that's how old I really am. I'm gonna go with the former explanation.

I didn't get to blow my own candles out... *pout*.

No one offered to take a photo of me with my parents. The kids kinda distracted us from that. Never mind. Twas a good birthday spent with the family.
FYI, I only spent $2 on this trip, on a scarf. My Finance Manager, aka Mother is doing her job well.
