Viv and I have been going to Pilates in Takapuna 3 times a week for the last month. We bought a cheap one month pass and vowed to go as many times as possible to get our cheapskate money's worth. Problem is that the classes we go to are always around peak-hour traffic and it's always a race to get there.
I was on my way there on a Monday evening when my cell rang. It was Viv and she said that her car had died on the side of the road. Since I was heading that way, I told her to ring AA and kept going as I'll see her on the side of the road if I kept going. Sure enough, the bimbo was waiting on the side of the road over the Shore. So I pulled up and waited with her. Her car had overheated. No one stopped to help (apart from this very staunch Kiwi old dude - emptied a bottle of water into one the mysterious holes and freaked us out by throwing words like blown gasket, expensive, etc around. Thanks a lot, dude.) Either Kiwis suck or we are too unattractive to warrant random roadside assistance. I tend to believe the former. Anyway AA came to our rescue and told us to wait till traffic eases before driving back. We waited for 5 minutes and as I have the attention span of an ant, I got bored so I decided that we'll drive to nearby Takapuna for dinner as we waited the traffic out. Problem solved!
Walked down the strip and decided on Kyo-Ya. We missed Pilates so had to have something healthy to feel less guilty, ya see.

We were hungry and bored so amused ourselves by taking random photos of ourselves.
Viv looking sad about her car, while updating Facebook re her dumbassness.

We got a dinner set to share and look how awesome it is!!
